Vegetarian and animal rights advocate Pamela Anderson to join ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Vegetarian and animal rights advocate Pamela Anderson is joining next season’s Dancing with the Stars. According to a RadarOnline source, “Pam is thrilled and so is the show.”

PETA’s BFF has been working to fight animal abuse worldwide. Recently she penned a letter to the President of Chile urging the country to ban circuses that feature animals. “

I am visiting your beautiful country and was excited to learn from my friends at PETA that Chile just passed a national animal welfare law and that your neighbor Bolivia recently enacted a ban on the use of animals in circuses. Would you consider strengthening Chile’s new animal welfare law by establishing a ban similar to Bolivia’s?”

It is an obvious assumption that Anderson will follow the lead of Heather Mills, who wore vegan skates on Dancing on Ice, and request cruelty-free costumes on the hit show.

ABC’s Dancing with the Stars debuted in 2005 and begins its 10th season on March 22.
